Beating Alabama, who will be a 17-plus point favorite will be hard enough for Notre Dame, who hasn’t performed well on the biggest post-season stages since the early nineties.

Then meeting either Clemson or Ohio State would see Notre Dame as a significant underdog again, no doubt.

It’s certainly not favorable to think that Notre Dame is going to win a game in the playoff, let alone the entire thing.
